Who doesn't love a little fluff? I can tell you right now
that my wedding dress will have TONS of fluff and when it comes to dogs, the
fluffier the better. Whether it be a fabulous yet unnecessary new outfit, a
juicy story on ESPN that they won't shut up about,
or real life marshmallow goodness, our lives are full of fluff.
And it can be quite distracting. Lately I have noticed all
of the irrelevant shhht around me and honestly, I’ve become quite annoyed. There’s
that person on Facebook that posts 500 times a day but I don’t dare delete them
because it’s too demoralizingly entertaining - and if you think I’m talking
about you, I PROBABLY AM so go check yourself! Then there’s the preoccupation
with the silly NFL that I let myself become obsessed with (yep, I’m a Cleveland
Brown now).
And as I’m about to enter one of the craziest 6 months of my
life, I’m trying to get a handle on all the fluff in my life. I’m going to try
to forego checking what so-and-so is up to for the 15th time today and
maybe only read ¾ of the stories that come out about Johnny Manziel. I need to prioritize and remember what’s important and
what is motivating me to work this hard.
Liiiiiiiiiike the fact that I'm the newest Loudest and Proudest Member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie class of 2014. Whoop! I'll finally complete my degree in December and get that d*mn Aggie ring I've wanted for so long. Lucky for me, I work for the coolest company with the coolest bosses in the entire world that have been nothing but supportive and encouraging when I first told them I wanted to go back to school. THE END IS IN SIGHT, ya'll! And when all is said and done and I have that perfect little gold piece on my finger, then I can deservedly have my fluffy duff lifestyle back :)
